Commercial plots on offer near Jewar airport siteGREATER NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Authority has launched its commercial and industrial plot schemes. Under the schemes, the Authority is offering some 86 plots for offices, hotels, shops and kiosks in the commercial category in sectors 17A, 18, 20, 22D and 32, and 74 plots in the industrial category in sectors 29, 32 and 33 of the YEIDA area. These plots are barely 4km from the upcoming Noida International airport.

Following the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Jewar airport last month and the rising interest in the region, YEIDA has expedited work on a slew of schemes starting with the commercial and industrial plot schemes, even as final touches are being given to around 450 residential plot scheme proposed in Sector 16 of YEIDA. The proposed metro and bullet train connectivity to these YEIDA sectors are an added attraction.

The last date for the submission of applications for the industrial and commercial plot schemes are December 31 and January 7, respectively, while allotments through e-auction for both the schemes will be held between January 15 and 17, officials have said. “There are 30 plots for kiosks and 56 plots for shops and offices under the commercial scheme. We have not yet finalised the details of the residential scheme, which will be launched by December 25,” said Arun Vir Singh, CEO of YEIDA.

“Under the industrial plot scheme, plots above 4,000 sqm will be allotted based on an interview.” The industrial sectors will have access to Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Yamuna Expressway.

Meanwhile, the Greater Noida Authority will hold a draw of lots of 113 single-storey built-up housing units on December 17.

These residential units are in sectors Xu 1, 2 and 3 and range from 120 to 200 sqm priced at Rs 58.99 lakh and Rs 82.91 lakh, respectively. “While the draw slips will be pulled out manually by school children amid Covid protocols, video recording will also be done for transparency,” said an official.
